Collaborative Pianist

California native Walter Greenwood spent most of his life in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania before becoming the busiest accompanist on the Big Island.

Walter has been continuously employed as a professional musician since 1977, and serves as pianist, organist, conductor and arranger for numerous choral, vocal, and instrumental groups from Kona to Volcano.

He works in community musical theater, and is on the performing arts faculty at UHH, where he works with choral groups and in the applied music program.
